Dr. John (Jack) Spencer has recently joined Bellingham Ear Nose & Throat. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, he went on to earn his medical degree at Loyola University Chicago. Upon finishing medical school, among those at the top of his class, Dr. Spencer was elected a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his residency training in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Dr. Spencer practices comprehensive ENT, treating patients of all ages. Within the broad specialty of Otolaryngology, his interests include complex sinonasal disorders, nasal airway surgery, thyroid and parathyroid disease, head and neck cancer surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology. He is trained in the surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and offers hypoglossal nerve stimulator implantation (Inspire). He finds the breadth and complexity of his field exciting. Dr. Spencer is committed to providing the best care for his patients, working together with them to create treatment plans that are best suited to their needs and values.
In his free time, Dr. Spencer enjoys being outdoors with his wife, children, and dog. He loves to hike, camp, ski, and sail.
