Dr. Olson earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1998, and completed his residency training at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California in 2003. He returned to Minnesota last year to take a one-year sub-specialty fellowship in Otology under the direction of Dr. Michael Paparella.  Olson recently moved to Bellingham with his wife, Rachel Budelsky-Olson, a wetland biologist, their daughter Indigo, age eight, and three-year old son Tor.
